Where
All games and tournament activities will take place at the
Belmont Complex in Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
This facility serves as the central hub for all games, the draft experience, and championship action.
Player Experience
This tournament is built to ensure every player is involved, engaged, and developing.
- Recommended shift length: 60–90 seconds
- Coaches manage fair rotation for equal ice time
- Every player participates in multiple guaranteed games
- Emphasis on development, effort, and sportsmanship
Games
Each team is guaranteed three round robin games. Teams advance to playoff rounds.
Jerseys
Tournament jerseys will be provided at check-in and must be worn during all games.
Rule Style
- No offsides or icing
- No body checking
- No slap shots
- Penalties result in a cross-ice penalty shot
- Minor infractions are enforced immediately to keep play moving
- Major penalties may result in removal or additional discipline
Standings & Playoffs
- Win = 2 points
- Tie = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
- Top teams advance to playoff rounds
- Goal differential capped at +6 per game for fairness
- Championship format includes overtime and shootout if needed

The Summer Plunge Pond Tournament is a recreational cross-ice pond hockey-style event designed to promote fun, sportsmanship, and player development.
Divisions
● 8U — 4 vs. 4

Coaches will be selected prior to the event.
A poolside player draft will be conducted for each division. Draft order will be randomly determined and conducted in a snake draft format.
Final team rosters will be posted in the designated pool area immediately following the completion of each draft.
