Mini Riverhawks
The Mini Riverhawks are excited to invite all boys and girls in grades K–6 to join our Developmental Hockey Program! This program is designed to teach the foundational skills of hockey skating, stick handling, and game play in a fun and supportive environment.
No prior hockey experience is required!
Please Note: This program is strictly for future Riverhawk players. If your player is already rostered on a current Riverhawk team, they are already taken care of and should not register for this program.
Requirements
- Players must have basic skating skills
- Must reside within the Armstrong School District (Players from neighboring districts without a developmental program may also be eligible, please contact us!)
- Must be born in 2014 or later
When
- Runs from September to March
- Practices on Sunday evenings TBD at the Belmont Complex
- Games scheduled with local schools and developmental programs based on ice availability
Cost
$500.00
USA Hockey Number
All players must also register with USA Hockey at www.usahockeyregistration.com for the 2026-2027 Season
Required Equipment
Full ice hockey gear is required, including:
- Helmet with full face cage/shield
- Mouthguard and neck guard
- Hockey skates
- Hockey gloves
- Elbow pads
- Shin/knee protection
- Shoulder pads and hockey pants
