Belmont Arrows In-House Hockey Program
2026–2027 SEASON
The Belmont Arrows In-House Hockey Program is the next step in your player’s progression after Learn to Play Hockey. It is geared toward players ages 6–12. Participants will build upon the individual skills learned in Learn to Play Hockey. This program will continue to develop the fundamental skills of ice hockey, helping players prepare to join the Armstrong Arrows Travel Hockey Teams or remain in the In-House Program. Participants will learn the basic skills required to play ice hockey in a fun, stress-free environment that allows them to learn and fall in love with the sport.
The program consists of skills and drills, a mix of cross-ice and full-ice games, and is designed to help new players and 8U players develop their skills and transition to full-ice games. All regularly scheduled practices and games will take place at the Belmont Complex on Saturdays. Travel is not required, although limited opportunities to travel to other local rinks may be offered throughout the season.
The program cost is $400, which will include a $25 registration fee and a team jersey for use during In-House games.
Additional jamborees and scrimmages with local rinks may be offered throughout the season. Participation is optional, and these events are not guaranteed. They will depend on scheduling and ice availability between local rinks. There is no additional cost for jamborees or scrimmages.
Belmont Arrows In-House Hockey Program for Arrows/MiniHawks/Freeport Mini Jackets Players
Armstrong Arrows and Freeport Mini Jackets players who would like additional ice time on Saturdays are welcome to join the Belmont Arrows In-House Hockey Program for $175.00, which includes the team jersey used for In-House games on Saturdays.

Practices
Belmont Arrows In-House Hockey Program will practice on Saturdays and may have additional practices during the week when Ice Slots are available. Off weeks due to tournaments/events will be made up at the end of the season.
Games
Cross-Ice Games will be on Saturdays approximately 11:20 am - 12:20 pm
Jerseys
Team Jerseys used for In-House Games is included in season fees.

This program focuses on developing the fundamental skills of ice hockey in a fun, supportive, and stress-free environment where players can learn, grow, and fall in love with the sport. The program is designed to help new players and 8U players develop their skills and transition to full-ice games, preparing them to advance to the Armstrong Arrows Hockey Association or continue in the In-House Program.
The program will include skills and drills, a mix of cross-ice and full-ice games, and opportunities for players to develop their confidence and understanding of the game. All regularly scheduled practices and games will take place at the Belmont Complex on Saturdays. Travel is not required; however, limited opportunities to travel to other local rinks may be offered throughout the season.
Program Dates: October 25, 2025 – April 18, 2026
Registration Fee: A $25 registration fee is included in the program cost.

Team Jersey: Included in the program fee and used for In-House games.
Eligibility: All participants must have completed a Learn to Play Hockey program.
USA Hockey Registration: All participants must have a valid USA Hockey membership.
Optional Jamborees and Scrimmages
Additional jamborees and scrimmages with local rinks may be offered throughout the season. Participation is optional and open to interested players. These events are not guaranteed and will depend on scheduling and ice availability between participating local rinks. There is no additional cost for jamborees or scrimmages.
Belmont Arrows In-House Hockey Program for Arrows/Mini Jackets Players
Armstrong Arrows, Armstrong MiniHawks, and Freeport Mini Jackets players who would like additional ice time on Saturdays are welcome to join the Belmont Arrows In-House Hockey Program for $175.00, which includes the team jersey used for In-House games.
Equipment Rentals
A limited number of hockey equipment packages are available to rent for a $75 deposit. Skate rentals require a $50 deposit. Please contact Gary Montebell at the Belmont Complex for more information.
