Please register now for the upcoming season!

Due to Covid extending our hockey season and USA Hockey Tryout Rules in regards to National Bound Teams, the Armstrong Amateur Hockey League (AAHL) will be conducting Non-National Bound Team Tryouts prior to 14U/16U/18U National Bound Team Tryouts this upcoming season.

The AAHL understands that this could cause confusion in regards to which team your player should tryout for this upcoming season.

To alleviate some confusion on who to tryout for, The AAHL will permit any player that attends a Non-National Bound Tryout and is placed on a Non-National Bound Team to also tryout for a National Bound Team. Players will be required to pay both tryout fees. Your 2nd tryout fee will be credited to your July 1st AAHL payment. If your player is not rostered on an Armstrong Arrows Team, your 2nd tryout fee will be refunded to your credit card. If the player is offered a roster spot on a National Bound Team, the AAHL will release the player from the Non-National Bound Roster and permit the player to be rostered on the National Bound Roster.

During the registration process, you must register for both Non-National Bound and National Bound Tryouts to allow the AAHL to see your players intentions for the upcoming season.

If your player is only interested in playing for a Non-National Bound Team or a National Bound Team, then only register for that team's tryouts.

AAHL reserves the right to hold supplemental tryouts to fill any & all open roster positions post open tryouts.

AAHL will adhere to all policies of USA Hockey and Mid Am in regards to tryout dates.

PAHL Team Placement:

AAHL will make a placement recommendation, but the PAHL determines the final placement of ALL teams in the league. AAHL cannot guarantee the level of play for any team playing in PAHL.
